Tim Starks and Matthew Swain of The Queensberry Rules/The Guardian break down their analysis of five retiring boxers and whether they deserve to be in boxing’s Hall of Fame. Tim Bradley is in good company with the four other boxers being discussed: Floyd Mayweather, Andre Ward, Juan Manuel Marquez, and Wladimir Klitschko.
Here’s one piece of the Bradley analysis by Swain:
Bradley was really good for a long time. Most of us didn’t appreciate him enough and that always seemed to be something that drove him, which is a trait nearly all of us share. When we excel as he did, we want the attention, credit, and respect that accompanies it. If the young fighters of the current generation had his ambition, boxing would be all the better for it.
